Elephant Reserve:

The Chirang Ripu Elephant Reserve is between the river Sonkosh on the western boundary and river Dhansiri on the Eastern boundary. In the year 2002, Manas national Park is declared as the care zone of this Elephant Reserve under project elephant. Presently this elephant reserve is one of the important MIKE (Monitoring of illegal killing of elephants) under CITES.
