Assam & North-East

With eight states, North East is very much diverse in peoples and culture. The biodiversity of North East is very much rich being a Biodiversity hotspot. Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland are the eight seats for North East. All the 7 states except Assam is covered by ups and downs of Himalaya. The states of Assam is also very much rich in its history, culture, natural resources and in hydroelectric production, tea and nonrenewable resources like oil and coal etc.
